Privacy Policy

Effective September 2026

Monkey Monk ("we," "us," "the app") is a discipline and habit-tracking app built to help people quit porn and masturbation. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled. We built this app to be used privately and honestly, and we treat your data with that in mind.

Information we collect

How we use it

Strictly to run the app: calculating your streak, syncing your data between your devices, showing you your own history and stats, and providing customer support if you contact us. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build behavioral profiles to sell to third parties.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, with encryption in transit and at rest. Row-level security is enabled on every table, meaning our own infrastructure is configured so that your account can only ever read or write its own data, never other users'.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. The only third parties involved are the infrastructure we rely on to run the app: Supabase (database and authentication) and, for paying subscribers, RevenueCat and the App Store / Google Play (payment processing). None of these providers use your data for their own purposes.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and everything tied to it at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your streak history, journal entries, and reasons from our systems.

Age restriction

Monkey Monk deals with adult subject matter and is not intended for anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
